Screenplay Writing and Formatting

Since I want to make the complete Novikof movie in the future with a much larger budget, I need to have the opening scene (and then eventually the rest of the scenes) formatted as a film screenplay.

I researched how to write in the official screenplay format on Studio Binder.

https://www.studiobinder.com/blog/brilliant-script-screenplay-format/

Sluglines tell where the action is happening. So this would be "Library in Moscow, Russia" or just "Library" and it would change from INT to EXT depending on if the scenes took place inside (interior) the library or outside (exterior) the library.

Action lines tell the action happening in the scene, and since my scene has a lot of action, these are important. They have a slight indent under the number of the slugline and are written as one large block of text. Only capitalize fully the names of characters the first time they are mentioned and then any important props or costume pieces also follow this rule.

Dialogue - center and capitalize the character who is saying the dialogue and then write the words said underneath (with just the small indent from the number of the slugline).

Here is the opening scene in screenplay form.
